Holy goodness crap. Fan art that ain't from My Little Pony, nor from the Legend of Zelda? It is a sign! A sign that I really wanted to draw something from a well known series!

SAILOR MOON.

Dun dun dun!

XD This be a piece celebrating the reissuing of the manga Sailor Moon back in the states, not to mention Codename wa Sailor V.

I have to thank this show for not only introducing the exciting world of mini-skirts and thirteen year old girls having the bodies of twenty five year olds and the genre of anime, but also getting me into drawing in general.

For you see I used to draw Sailor Moon inspired crap ALLLLL the time.

XD And how it felt grand to draw it once again.

Usagi and Minako here are sporting their Super forms and not to mention incorporating some retired aspects of their first uniforms shown in the series. Alas, how the masks were thrown aside and Minako not carrying around her whip anymore! Also tried to go with a more 'shoujo' approach with the eyes, what with making them bigger, but couldn't bring myself to draw them anorexic. It goes against my schema of fighting women actually having MUSCLE on them, LAWLZ.

I love their Super designs.... not so much the Eternal ones. Football helmet shoulder pads really aren't that appealing to me. XD
